Like I said in the last post. It was too much for one post. I will talk about my last 3 tips Variety, getting your 5 fruits and vegetables and keeping the faith.
Variety. I must have variety in food and exercise. Some people can eat the same food every day and the same exercise every week. I can’t. I get bored easily. My main form of exercise is Tae Kwon do. No class is ever the same. As far as food goes I try new recipes. I try new products from different stores. Anything to keep it fresh and new.
Getting your 5 servings of fruits and vegetables. I throw veggies in everything. I keep a big bag of baby spinach. I throw it in eggs, use it as lettuce in a sandwich and can easily steam it for dinner.I love egg white omelets so I cut up veggies for them and place it in a bag in the fridge. I also cut up veggies and fruit for snacks and put them in little sandwich bags so I can grab and go. It takes planning but it’s so much better than starving or stressing out because I snack on unhealthy food. For fruit I like fresh the best but I keep frozen and little packages of Buddy Fruit to grab and go.
Keeping the faith! This is what was missing from my last tries at weight loss. I always lose weight but not enough and I don’t keep it off. This time I’m trying new things to explore my feelings ( such as writing this blog). I have realized that this is what I need to do and I have faith that I can do it. I get help from meditating and reading my bible. They have an app for that. I know there is an app for everything. Biblical Encouragement for Weight Loss. It sorts out specific bible verses to help with your feelings and relates them to weight loss. Faith makes things possible not easy.
